A woman reported to police on Thursday, July 26 that her car had been stolen from a Popham Road parking garage two days earlier. She said that she had left it at approximately 9 p.m. on July 24, and found it was gone at 10 p.m. the following day when she returned.
Police said that the woman had left the keys inside the car for Propark workers, in case they needed to move it to another space in the garage. After checking with Propark workers, who hadn’t moved the car, the woman reported the stolen vehicle to police investigators.
According to police, they reviewed surveillance photos, and the car was captured leaving the garage, going out of the entrance the wrong way. It then made a left turn on Popham Road. The incident remains under investigation, police said.
